Hey all,
I am officially retiring from restore-list and my blogging and all online restoring activity. I have mixed feelings, because being circumcised has seriously been one of the most traumatic things I've ever had to deal with and its really disgraceful that our horrible country has turned its back on issues so simple, so crucial to our wellbeing.

Since the schoolyear is starting soon I basically was just like I have to retire from this because I feel like its just a constant loop of bullshitting with everyone and not doing anything to save babies or anything. It sucks because we cant do much, we are not feminists that can bitch and whine to congress and get their female genital mutilation banned. We are stuck with this. There are tons of foreskins being chopped off EVERY FRICKIN DAY. I was one of them 15 years ago. Its horrible. 15 years of foreskins are still going in the trash, getting sent out to medical firms, going wherever the fuck these dishonest doctors fucking want. They think its just cute that they are performing such an "innocent" surgery on a baby boy to "better" him, its FUCKING HORRIBLE. Look at this disgusting accucirc device, WHY THE FUCK IS THIS NECESSARY ANYMORE. IT ISNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yet more devices just keep coming out to encourage this horrible disgusting and perverted behavior. I cant believe its legal for hospitals to actually RECOMMEND it. WHAT THE FUCK??!??!

So, I must move on. I have grown a lot and have also grown to realize that there are a lot of stupid fucking people in the world and unfortunately if they choose to circumcise then so be it. We the restorers and believers in integrity of course have spread the information as best as possible to search engines like Google for soon to be parents with a BRAIN to find, but there is still absolutely nothing that we can do about the doctors advising otherwise or going by their "old and trusted" methods and recommendations, as the doctors who advised my own mother did. Its a god damn shame and speaking of god, there is no god. It is damn obvious at this point. That is part of the problem.

I am of course leaving my blog online and its contents intact, I will always continue to support those who encourage the changing of peoples minds but I just cant stay committed to it anymore. I really hope that I have helped a lot of people or at least been a role-model for people my own age but its just too depressing to think about anymore.

Figured out a sweet way to wear the TLC-X

With the 24mm inside part, ROLL the skin over the inside of the TLC-X and then pull on it just a little bit so that the front and back are even. Its critical that you dont pull the skin, it will stretch too much inner foreskin onto the device. You want shaft-skin only being expanded, and the feeling to be natural. So "rolling" it on then adjusting the tension is the way to go.

When you apply the outer cone like this, it works out great. You can feel that all of the inner-skin is safely tucked away below or against the inner insert, and the outer, shaft skin is being expanded only. I suspect this will yield optimal growth and results.

Keep in mind that what helps me retain this setup for hours is the fact that I have a frenulum still, and the way that it junctures at the circumcision's scar point about halfway down the shaft on the underside. This provides a "hook " for the "frenulum-groove " in the tlc-x's inner 24mm piece, and enables me to just restore this shaft skin.

Getting from Point A to Point B

So when you are restoring its tough sometimes because it feels like you are making no progress. The reason for this is because when someone circumcises you in a hospital, they usually pull a lot or even too much skin into the "device " that they are using to do it with to save time and ensure safety. (yeah thanks )

This gives those poor cosmetic results that many circumcised men grow into having as they mature in their teens and need whatever skin is down there to develop... such as tight erections (which can be experienced as a kid too, I had some issues with that when I was like 10 but it wasnt too bad, just no movement as a 1950s, the start of the craze, circumciser would deem "perfect" so that masturbation is hindered... assholes )

HOWEVER IT also prevents a lot of REALLY POOR cosmetic results... such as adhesions of the torn-up bloody skin to the newly exposed glans (head ) of the penis, which does happen. So this is why they take off a lot to make sure that they dont end up with a serious complication. Yet, this creates a complication 10-15 years down the road when penis-growth comes into play... but these kids like me dont know what normal is and think sex or their body is something completely different than what it should be. Shocking... but this is the USA today. We allow this shit.

So back to the restoring part. Starting to restore and getting to the point of having coverage is tough because due to the tightness that defines being circumcised, being able to pull the skin over the glans and getting it to go there on its own are two completely different things. It is a BATTLE in which you have to first restore yourself to being loosely circumcised THEN work on your new "fauxskin "... I know it sucks but this is why I often tell people they have nothing to lose by just going-for-it.

A good indicator for how much "bitch work " you must endure is how tight your erection may be. If you have loose skin to move around there, and you havent started yet, your probably going to have a speedy restoration. However, if you are like most guys who literally got "shafted " by the doctor and maybe or maybe not left with sensitive areas of skin AT ALL... depending on what style the doctor's "signature " on your junk was that day you were born.......... every restorers story is different.

My summary: Some guys can do it in months, some it takes years... like 10 years even. I for one am about halfway to where I want to be, and I have spent 2 years doing this under my clothes at school.... I have enough coverage to be comfortable in the changing rooms or under my speedo for swimming (no more exposed glans poking or leaving an outline... GROSS I'm not proud of being american for this ) so would I ever turn back.... NO. what good would it do? I can have a beautiful, comfortable, restored penis with a "fauxskin " if I just spend a little bit more time on it, and I will. This is not the last youll here from adam. :)

1. embarrassment in public changing rooms, not being myself, more function and form, better looking... especially since I'm skinny and not much of a show-off (I'll keep my glans to myself thanks )

2. ummm because it looks way better and you will love not having your glans rubbing around all day. you probably dont really focus on how annoying it is now but you will really appreciate it when you dont have it going on. easier to stay focused and enjoy yourself

3. tlc-x tugger with various inserts and pieces from them, tried some other stuff but this is the best along with tape when you cant use this or are taking breaks at night time

I'm still doing it but honestly I have enough skin to cover myself and it rolls over by itself even when standing. but its hard to keep it over since I get aroused when that happens, I am still getting used to it honestly. 6. umm not really I mean my glans is way different and there is an absurd amount of sensitivity there. I mean if you go into restoring thinking its going to be sick then you will be disappointed, but it honestly shocked me how much better it felt in all. I'm not sure how you are cut or where your scar is. it just depends on how generous or lazy the doctor was or if he was a douche and cut off the best parts or anything, let me know just describe it

7. I told my mom and she was pretty shocked but now she is ok with it just pissy because I got really mad at her for being so dumb as to commit to genital mutilation in the first place. I even showed her what it looks like now and I think she was relieved at how not gross or weird it was, it looks pretty normal. I change at school adn swim practice and its fine and everyone just think s its uncut like theirs... there arent that many cut kids that I'm friends with so I get lots of acceptance as usual and everyone who is cut thinks its cool too. nobody EVER says anything about it, except a few times at hockey but now I dont do that anymore so who cares.

8. I say go for it. if you are thinking about it then you mine as well start, you can stop at any time and just have more movement in the shaft skin and there is literally nothing to lose as long as you dont try to restore overnight or something

Basically after reading it I was asked to leave a comment, in which I said (with a link to this blog):
"honestly bro, I really wouldnt do it. I'm 15 and my parents had me "crimped ", watch the videos its pretty gross. they have gotten more and more creative with "fun " ways of cutting the foreskin... its not even cutting anymore in some hospitals, more like pressing it apart in a gross way.

Hey ashton,
TLC-X was a good choice, I use it during the day and do my "o-tape " otherwise especially while sleeping. I have given up completely on tugging at night since it always comes off and or becomes uncomfortable, just wear a retainer that is secured but not too tightly to prevent a comfortable boner.

I found that if you wear the tlc-x every day all the time, the skin gets exhausted and the tlc-x comes off more easily. If you take breaks like this at night, you wont have any problems with the skin and it gives it time to heal.

Also, when you apply the tlc-x, you shouldnt have a whole lot of movement in the plunger part of it. maybe only 1/4 to 1/2 inch. if its more than an inch for example, you are applying it wrong and not putting enough even tension on that inside area. If you want to expand a greater area of skin, use a larger insert piece. (like the 16mm one you mentioned getting, I use a 24mm one )

I saw this post online from someone I met after they were having problems with their circumcision...

I've given this a lot of thought and I've had some very long discussions with some older friends about this, and I wanted to post my feelings.

March 22nd [2007] I was circumcised, thats the fact here.

I've come to realize a few points.. I made some major mistakes

1) I listened to other kids / teenagers about "what is best", and not my parents and doctors.
2) Even if you decide to do something like this against your parents suggestions, you should always tell the doctor "this is what I want, how can I get that" And then take their advice. When you think you know it all and insist that it be done a certain way only, your bound to get some screw ups.

The point of the matter is, I was too young to make the decision and I did it, and I have to live with the consequences of it.

Granted, IMO there's not all bad things from this. There's a lot I like, but it could have been a lot better. will talk about both.

Good:
1: I like the looks of my penis when I am erect. I never did like the over hang and extra foreskin. I think it looks better with the head out and ready to get action.
2: blowjobs feel much better
3: I dont have to clean under my foreskin, and beleive me with as long as my foreskin was it wasnt easy when i was soft to clean it.
4: I have literally no scar line, so this is a good thing. you can only tell where it happened because the skin changes color sightly.

Bad:
1: because I was stupid and wouldn't listen to the suggestion of my doctors, my circumcision ended up being extremely tight because I was DUMB. I didn't think she was taking off the right amount of skin and I asked for more. Again this is my fault. Now I have to live with being cut really tight.
2: Because I'm really tight jacking off without lube is impossible. I've tried every way i can think of and I've had others try to do it on me, it just doesn't work, it hurts too much. This means i have to have some type of lube every time i want to JO.. suckage. So Masturbation is worse overall.
3: my penis when im soft looks significantly smaller. I knew this before i went into it and im not that worried about it, but it does suck

The Not sure if Good or Bad:
1: I've noticed that when I get "extremly" hard, my scrotum gets pulled up a bit on my shaft and doesnt hang right. My balls now dance like mad when i whack off and im not sure if thats good or bad, some people say its good but.. is it?
2: orgasms come faster when I am getting a blowjob.
3: orgasms come slower when I am jacking off and it takes a lot more work.

In finishing this post, I THINK I MADE A MISTAKE IN GETTING CIRCUMCISED. Operating on a prepubescent penis is just not something that can be done accurately. I think everyone should have a choice in the matter, but I think people should be making the choice for the right reasons, not the wrong reasons. And not because they are stubborn.. that goes either way. I realize and I know that I cant go back and undo what I've done. I have to accept the fact that I got what I asked for. I got circumcised. I did not get the results I wanted, nor anywhere close to it. But I did in fact get what I asked for and this is something I will have to live with, because I made the choice.

Whose fault was it? Mine. I accept that responsibility.

I'm sorry to my friends who I've complained and cried to, and I thank those for giving me someone to talk to. I love yall. Thanks to everyone reading this post as it makes me feel a lot better to get it off my chest and come 'clean' about my feelings and results. Maybe someone else will take advice from my lessons learned and not make the same mistakes I did, and get the results they really wanted.

A surprise in the mail.... my medical records

A while ago I requested my birth records, but we have been away. We still are but our mail is being forwarded so today they showed-up! I saw a thick envelope addressed to me with confidential stamped everywhere and snatched it before anyone else saw.

Opened it up and it seems like they gave me everything I wanted to see for a modest $7 which I guess I have to mail them a check for now. I was surprised about how easy it was to get these records without any proof of identity, social security number, or even phone call. You literally just fill out the information and tell them where you want to send it to. It was almost TOO easy. And like I said the stuff just showed-up with no confirmation of my identity or anything. I'm a minor even!! weird.

So anyway moving forward and paging through the documentation, I noticed a few things right away:
1. I was circumcised the day after I was born, not right after. and I was born in the morning so there was at least 24-hours of a delay.
2. On the "discharge summary " which they give you as you leave the hosptial, obviously, they had to physically write-in that I was circumcised, it wasnt a printed option anymore when I was born I guess.
3. The initial birth summary reported that everything was fine and completely normal, and it was a vaginal birth.

Then I got to the circumcision consent form, I noticed a few more things:
1. This was given to my mom as soon as she showed up at the hospital, two weeks before I was born. Signed by her in her same exact handwriting she has now (sigh ) and authorizing only a specific doctor to do it.
2. Then there is a separate section below that that was filled out the day after I was born with the doctors and technicians signatures.
3. The form actually went over a lot of the stuff I didnt think they mentioned. I have typedi t out more below.

"Consent for circumcision
Circumcision is a procedure in which the foreskin ( fold of skin that covers the end of the penis) is surgically removed. Many parents are interested i nhaving circumcision done for ehtnic, cultural , religiouos, or social reasons; but there is still some medcial controversy about the need for the procedure on a routine basis. Please read and sign this consent form if you wish to have your infant circumcised.

1. I/we would like to have our infant circumcised.
2. I/we have read the information sheet "considerations for non-ritual circumcision" and have discussed the advantages and risks of the surgery with our obstetrician.
3. I/we understand these risks include hemorrhage (bleeding ), infection, adhesion formation, cosmetic deformity, or functional defect. Significant complication occurs about once in every 500 circumcisions.
4. I/we understand that other unexpected risks or complications not mentioned may occur, and I/we acknowledge that no guarantees nor promises have been mad e to me/us concerning the results of this surgery.
5. I authorize doctor ______ to perform a circumcision on our infant ___.
6. I/we authorize and request the authorities of the _____ hospital to dispose of any tissue which may be removed and/or use it for diagnostic, scientific, or teaching purposes.

All questions were answered and the parent( s) consent to the procedure"

So obviously I was a little pissed that my parents were still stupid enough to go through with this after its clearly all laid out there but maybe the doctor was soothing about it and stuff. I mean I definitely had some cosmetic deformities like they say but they are now hidden inside my new fauxskin.

One of those cosmetic deformities has now been answered by the NEXT SHEET of paper...
about 12 hours after my circumcision it started 'oozing " and they had to suture part of it. I was WONDERING ABOUT THAT because I can see where it was and always noticed the scar popping apart at one place for maybe 3/4 of a centimeter with it looking a bit "mended ". according to this they then reviewed the suturing 3 hours later and there was nothing more about that.

So I guess this answered a lot of questions for me but I'm not really sure what to do now because I am still upset and havent found closure on all of this yet. Obviously especially thanks to this I cant sue anybody because it was 100% my dumb parents fault even though they wanted what they THOUGHT was best but then ignored the nurse being like "you really dont need to do this ... " by saying it was a " fad" not to cut and telling the nurse it was " none of her business! " (true story ) . I'm sure they didnt know any better until I told my mom like 4 times I was pissed off and she probably didnt know any better since all of my little cousins are still cut by horrible people not knowing any better and this is a total disaster.

AccuCirc is a horrible invention!

Okay this is absolutely disgusting. If some random adults are putting together some creative new circumcision device, shouldnt they at least be discouraging its routine use since absolutely no trusted medical firm recommends routine circumcision these days? (especially outside of the USA)

Nope, they arent. They even dub classical music over their demo video so that you cant hear the baby screaming. However you can still see him violently kicking and flailing.

Nowhere on Accucirc's website does it say that circumcision is only recommended for medical reasons only, not misinformed parents obeying a fake and cruel tradition. They are taking advantage of suckers with newborns so that they can charge you for this horribly barbaric "cookie press " device that crushes and squeezes a lovely dark line in your son's penis shaft where his foreskin used to expand over the glans from.

ASIDE FROM ALL OF THIS, HERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT REASON TO NOT USE ACCUCIRC:
Not only that, but this particular device removes the most sensitive tissue from inside the foreskin, unlike the mogen clamp which AT LEAST saves the frenulum and most of that tissue. (this is what the Jews use) Less sex life, less fun in life, all thanks to these guys developing their new "foolproof " way to cut off your baby's most sensitive skin... on his genitals of all places. If you are going to use it, then you should at least be generous since this is a horrible procedure as-is.

The developers of AccuCirc only care about money. They do not care about your son's sexual pleasure or erectile-comfort because:
a) he will not know any better
b) that is probably outside of the statue of limitations
c) "too many other people" wouldnt have complained
d) "sorry!"

The only somewhat "decent circumcision " is not a circumcision at all... it is just a dorsal-slit, which saves all of that sensitive tissue and just leaves it hanging below the glans out of view. This is somewhat humane since it can be undone with ease, but still unnecessary and unjustified... yet a lot more fool-proof or safe or humane than a "Accucirc ".... A lot of people in the Philippines (one of the only other places with routine circumcision, instead at the age of 13 or so ) have a dorsal-slit done instead of a full, scarring hospital circumcision. Overall, this procedure is still not justified by me or anyone condoning the rights of an infant. The worst case I could probably imagine is asking a hospital for a dorsal-slit for your baby, and then them just doing a regular circumcision anyway. You are in a different room while your baby's penis is being cut and clamped apart, you have no idea what is going on and they shield you from it since its so awful.

The problem is that they cant circumcise based on genetics. Your son might have a longer than average erection after he grows through puberty, this will not leave enough skin for that!! It will be very uncomfortable and tight. However, if you left his foreskin, which is genetically designed for him, it wouldnt be such a problem.

Why don't they just leave more skin when they cut then? Because it will still roll-over the glans (head) by itself, naturally. What is the point then? They cant sell a device that "doesn't do anything " so why not crush off the most skin possible for that best looking result. Who cares if he will have pubic hairs on his shaft! We are making money and people "want " this.

Ignore all of the "happy " baby pictures as well, those are all clearly stock photography from some other source! (in case you didnt notice ) Your baby will look more like this... for at least a day afterward.

And he could grow into realizing what was done to him and how brutal, pointless, and disgusting it is. No part of man needs to be man-made, especially from birth, unless there is a dire medical situation involving ones life or death. Circumcision is just a way for hospitals to make an extra $600 from uninformed parents. (and then about $40 more from selling your baby's used foreskin for use in making cosmetics and other things.)

NO BABY NEEDS A CIRCUMCISION. Especially one of these HORRIBLE AccuCirc ones.

How to do the TLC-X SUPER TUG!!

I invented this, and it works really well.
Try it.

What you need: a TLC-X tugger (preferably with a larger inner piece, I use the 24mm one with a frenulum cut-out ), 3M Skin-colored medical stretchy foam tape.

Here are the instructions drawn out. It also explains how to do an "O-Tape" which is what I use at school days that I cant wear the tlc-x, or sometimes at swim practice or when running around. it helps!

I feel the exact same way. :(

I first found out about it when I was a kid at camp and didn’t like the idea that someone had cut off part of my body. Especially there. As I grew up, and learned more and more information through sex education, etc., it started to bother me more, to the point where by my late teens it would make me feel bad if I thought of it or if it ever came up. It always struck me as unfair, finding out the shabby reasons or being told it didn’t really matter much one way or the other. If it didn’t really matter either way, then why was it done to me? I also hate the fact that while discovering sexuality, like all guys do around puberty, involved me finding the scar and being bothered by the fact that I was cut. I don’t think discovering your own body should involve that kind of thing at all. A kid shouldn’t have to deal with that. It wasn’t done for any medical need but because my parents happened to think it was ‘cleaner’ or ‘healthier.’ I really don’t think I’d have had trouble having to spend an extra 5 seconds in the shower to clean it if it meant having my whole sex anatomy intact the way the male body is designed. I find it appalling that the medical community allows this to continue, whose body is it anyway? It still pisses me off to this day and can upset me because it brings up feeling violated and the physicality of it is permanent. I find the attitude some people still have around it a little disturbing like its business as usual. I’m not saying worse things don’t happen, but I don’t get how some people still to this day think that cutting off a part of a healthy child’s penis is normal. Cutting off body parts is supposed to be a last resort in medicine. I really do hope that the doctors will step up and do the right thing on this. Regardless of whatever slight possible medical benefits doctors should recognize that it is wrong to cut off healthy body parts from someone who can’t consent. It should be a individual choice not a parental one. Parents have to decide a lot of things, but permanently removing part of their kid’s penis, when he’ll be able to decide for himself later, shouldn’t be one of them.

Being harmed by the actions of a doctor, I really find it hard to accept that they allow this to continue. Nobody should be harmed by medicine, and especially when there isn’t even some specific reason why they might be needing a treatment that could go wrong. I was healthy and would have probably stayed that way. And the harm I experienced was caused by the actions of a doctor ‘treating’ me for absolutely nothing except for the fact that I was born having a anatomically complete body.

Can't buy a TLC-X? (no credit card?)

Hey guys, if you are my age and you want to start restoring, but dont have a credit card or cant buy something. do one of the following:
a) consider talking to your parents... or one of them (mom). whichever is nicer, closer to you, cares the most. this is a serious issue you have with you body and I'm sure they will respect you being grown up about it. however, dont complain to them... just express sympathy for yourself and be like "I really want to correct this safely without surgery or anymore damage, I think this is my best possible way and I want to get started now"

b) if that doesnt work, you are too nervous, or you dont live with your parents... then I would suggest going to the supermarket and getting a prepaid mastercard or visa card, then use that to buy a TLC-X or something. sure you're skirting the system but at least you'll be able to follow your dream of having a wondering foreskin blanket for your glans.

Either way, trust me... if you have any interest in this you mine as well start ASAP because you'll regret not casually wearing a tlc-x to work or school for the next year if you look back then and be liek "damn I should have just done it". you could be done in 6-months depending on how you were cut and how often you wear the tlc-x and what you wear when you dont wear it. (tape, trombone mouthpiece, etc.)

Restoring isnt very intrusive on one's life, take it from me! if it were, I wouldnt be doing it. It doesnt affect me socially or at school, and I just pop the devices off and reveal my lovely fauxskin before changing for sports or gym or swimming. everyone who is cut is like "what the hell>???" then everyone who is uncut is like "he's one of us". nobody has said anything but I know people remember me being cut and wonder... if only I could market this better. :) maybe I should wear the stuff to gym instead!!

Ever since I was seven I felt something was missing. Fortunately, I was one of few who was always able to pull the skin up over the head when flaccid and most of it (very tightly) when erect. My role as a nursing student was to just stand there and observe. Now I am not somebody who gets squeamish or grossed out or anything, and I wouldn’t describe the procedure as gross, I would describe it as torture. It was a life changing experience for me and I need to tell you what it meant to me. I couldn’t believe what I was bearing witness to. This perfect new baby, his legs strapped down to a white plastic board called a circumstraint, betadine splashed on his genitals as the doctor jabbed him with a couple shots of lidocaine. The baby was screaming and as I watched the doctor quickly get to work with her tools a rush of weird sensations came over me. Every intuition in my body was screaming NO! It was like I was frozen and couldn’t move or speak. I didn’t want to look but I couldn’t look away. I watched the doctor repeatedly jam an instrument under the baby’s foreskin to separate it from the glans (which I later learned feels comparable to separating a fingernail from the finger by carving under it with a knife) After she separated it, she was able to cut around circmference of the penis and remove the foreskin. And then she tossed it in the trash like it was a worthless piece of skin. ............ I hate feeling sad when I hear someone is having a boy just because I’m sure they’ll circumcise him. I hate feeling that because as the mother of two little boys, I know that little boys are amazing little people with or without intact genitals. TLC-X only now! Proper instructions from me!!

I have honestly just started using the TLC-X only (no more trombone mouthpiece at night ) and occasionally tape when I feel like it would be a hassle.
Its great for school since it only takes an extra minute in the bathroom and I can just pop it off in 2 seconds before sports or swimming to reveal my lovely new fauxskin I am so proud of

The thing that helped me be comfortable with it is that you have to realize that the entire inside part is being tugged at when wearing it. including the part thats between the inner and outer cones. I wear the 24mm inside part to help space the target areas to farther up my shaft and away from my glans' underlying sensitive areas and frenulum. but its probably still being expanded anyway for the reason I just said, oh well it looks great

so basically for the tlc-x just put it as close to your glans as possible and make sure you get the frenulum version if you still have yours (need to know? yours might not look exactly like that but that varies on genetics ). just pull the skin up over the bottom part and inside cone as far as possible so that its snug. If it doesnt stay in by itself at this point when you let go then its probably too big for you but just bear with it since you will simply need to pay more attention when its going to slip off.

So once the skin is pulled all the way over, push the skin up even farther with your other hand and then put the outer cone over it. But dont push it too far. Then, let go, then grab it again, pull the outer cone off slightly, push the skin up even farther but not too far, then replace the outer cone. it should feel very secure. if you caught any hairs, you might want to either do it a third time and then pull them back out of the way beforehand.

So now you have to adjust the " plunger" part. This is easy. Carefully push it downward until you feel some discomfort. At this point, it shouldnt have taken too much, just pull it all the way back out. Then repeat. It should have equalized the vacuum inside your growing sealed-off fauxskin right now and you can move it more freely. So, push it back to about 75% of what you maxed out at before and you should feel tension but no discomfort. Maybe go like 80% if its during the day but i go like 65-70% at night just to make sure it wont come loose or get casually popped off by me if its bothering me.

But like i said you can use this at night if you dont put too much tension on but still put enough that it stays on and is effective. I love this!! trombone mouthpiece was way more hassle, the TLC-X is a great buy

O-Rings - Third[?] time is the charm

I have tried o-rings before without much success.
A few days ago I tried them again, again without much success.

But I was successful enough to at least get some benefit from them. As far as I can tell you can only wear them for short periods of time because they totally restrict your circulation and if you leave them on it'll result in.... you guessed it... another circumcision or possibly worse. You have to be careful and I honestly dont think this is a good way to restore.

But that said I think this is sort of a "sprint " in the restoring world. If you could wear o-rings for like an hour or two per day and then wear just a retainer that holds the skin very gently at the position you want I think you could get sick results.

Moving on, my swim practices are canceled all week this week since we have exams. But my mom wants me to practice anyway so she has been bringing me on my own. This means two things......

1) My friends arent there
2) I have to use the men's changing room since the team's room isnt available

So since I am using the regular men's locker room, I wore the o-rings under both my speedo and in the shower. With the brief on it didnt really matter because my starting overhang when I am in cold water and all tiny its fairly prominent so it looks the same if not just thicker, which I dont really think looks that good but whatever nobody was really looking and at least you couldnt see this penis head outline instead gross.

In teh shower there were like 5 older guys and they all looked down at me like 5 times over and over. I am glad they were curious but I obviously felt safe since there were so many other people in the shower area steam room and the sauna plus the lockers so I wasnt worried about getting abducted or harassed. I was ready to answer questions but I think they were too nervous since I am so young. I dont blame them for looking because its pretty obvious and looks totally anteatered (a good thing ) but I am now like a walking billboard when I am in those areas. I just hope nobody thinks I am perverted or something.

This summer when I dont have as many practices I will probably wear them sometimes just for kicks but I honestly like sporting just my naturally obtained "fauxskin " just as much.

Its a tossup and I can go either way, but anything to promote the intact look to most cut guys. I think people understand the o-rings right away as long as they got a clear view to see that its many small rings like that african neck thing not just a bandage or something. It definitely doesnt look bandaged.

One more thing. I really think that the TLC-Tugger's inner part makes the best insert for using o-rings especially if it fits nicely and or has the frenulum groove cut if you still have yours and it didnt get lopped off by that nasty circumciser doctor!! eww. You can make your own insert using a baby bottle or pacifer nipple filled with clay or glue or some other thing but since the TLC gives it that anteater look and has that metal piece at the top thats so thin allowing the least amount of elasticity on the o-rings and pressure on the skin without sacrificing any effectiveness or whatever the heck I am talking about

As for o-ring sizing, buy a lot of o-rings. you would be surprised that you will need a very large size. Even me being young I still need a pretty big o-ring since my skin is pretty thick. But you want a THIN o-ring not a thick one so that you can actually stretch it around and get a solid ring of skin in there.

You need to put like 4 fingers inside the ring to stretch it then keep applying o-rings 1 below the other until you are unable to push the ones at the top off easily and there is an even and balanced ring of bunched skin at the top holding them all on.

AND BE CAREFULL!!!! YOU CANT WEAR THEM FOR TOO LONG it is dangerous. Overnight is WAY too risky and even during the day at school or work I wouldnt recommend. Maybe when working out or at sports or coming home from school or work wear them for an hour or two MAXIMUM. Or get a looser o-ring if you can get it to stay on and find a big enough insert that is still comfortable and not weird or obvious.

Still using the TLC-X or "o-tape" method during the day depending on what I am doing that day. The TLC-X is a great product really and the customization options for it should work for everyone as long as they are not too young. (eek!) I had trouble getting on the TLC-Tugger when I first started but now I can wear anything because of the added skin I have now from the progress. Penis size doesnt matter but you need a balance of size and slack skin to wear just about anything. (see example diagram of me wearing the tlc-x compared to shaft width or overall size) So for me it ended up being slack skin when I went to use a larger device, I am still growing. (the TLC-X with 24mm insert and frenulum groove.. custom made for me by Ron Low at TLC!)

O-tape is basically just wrapping a single layer of stretchy, skin colored medical foam tape (3M) around the skin pulled forward so that the end opening is about half of your glans' opening. You dont want it too tight because it will restrict going to the bathroom when you pull it back casually or too loose wont stay forward if you dont have enough skin. I usually try to make a "cone " out of the tape and skin so that its not just a small cylinder shape like a younger overhang (some of my friends at school look like that always in the showers but I dont think they can retract the skin, but in this case restorers do need to) but more of an adult coverage with a slight pucker to it at the end. it is awesome

The trombone mouthpiece is perfect for night-time!

Tension amounts, comfort

Just a quick post from me on how much tension you want to have. You should feel no pain. That includes a stretching feeling, that is too much so back off a little bit until it feels like nothing is different, but if you push on the skin its still a bit springy from being expanded.

My whole first year of restoring I thought I could use as much tension as possible and get maximum results. THIS DID NOT WORK. You need to obey your body's threasholds and it will cooperate and adapt to what you want. If you feel like you are making no progress, take a step back and examine your strategies.

Restoring shouldnt be uncomfortable or painful. its annoying to have to wear stuff but it shouldnt hurt or annoy you nerves wise. Obviously you will be able to feel something there that doesnt belong (like a TLC-X! ) but it should feel fairly natural and not be a distraction.

I am a little depressed that this is still taking so long, but I am hanging in there. I think if I had found my most successful method (day: tlc-x, night: trombone mouthpiece with tape) more quickly I would be where I want to be now.

My current status is that I am already what most people would consider restored. However I first had a very tight circumcision and that put me in a bad situation. Plus it didnt help that my penis was usually hanging pretty longly vs. being short. I dont know why this but it makes my results less obvious in both looks and feel.

Still, I am making good progress. When I am in the shortest state I have full coverage and then some. When I am in the showing state, I have half to 3/4 coverage, which is a little unpredictable so I am going to keep going. I would like some overhang but it seems like too much to ask for since I dont want this to take over my life.

I will continue posting and hopefully be where I want to be by the end of the summer, if not Christmas.

I know I am making progress because yesterday I was in the shower after swim practice and started to get an erection.. it happens. Naturally the skin rolled back on its own as it should and I simply grabbed my towel and left. After getting dressed I walked out to my mom's car and felt the skin roll back forward on its own... which is pretty much a first for me at least while standing up.. normally I would have to sit down or something to have it push forward.

I'm not fully restored but I have made a lot of progress and simply want to get to the point where I have a healthy amount of skin during an erection, meaning that there are some wrinkles held forward to the glans by my frenulum's elasticity and a smooth shaft of skin. Ideally I want a half inch of overhang in my softest state as a side effect but it doesnt matter. That is more of a teen/kid thing anyway I would probably grow out of by the time I am 20 anyway.

What I am doing now....

My current method of choice is...
Daytime (school / class / weekends or at home): TLC-X with the 24mm spacer
Nighttime: Trombone mouthpiece (how to wear it )
Sports or swimming: Just tape as a retainer, sometimes
Changing rooms: nothing, ever. My fauxskin does its job and keeps me covered.

This seems to be the best choice since wearing the tlc-x to bed can be annoying if you arent awake to adjust it if necessary. So you would subconsciously take it off in the middle of the night and ruin your progress from what was 24/7 tension.

The only downside is that you have to take off the TLC-X to pee but that just means you need to use the stall and be quick. But it is no big deal, just make sure you put it on properly afterward with diligence so that it doesnt slip off suddenly during your day. It hasnt happened to me but it could and you just have to be careful to check whether you think it has made a good fit on your junk. If it feels sketchy then chances are it will not stay on!!

I do have one TLC-X complaint.

With the TLCS24 insert it sometimes pokes your glans in weird ways and starts to hurt. there is no pain anywhere else. I have tried to solve the problem by wrapping the insert with the 3M skin colored foam tape that I usually use for all sorts of stuff and it seems to be a lot more comfortable. Another restorer suggested using "memory foam " but I am seeking more information before spending my hard earned money on materials!!

But the TLC-X is still a really good product and I think this will be resolved with only minor efforts if it hasnt been already with a coating of tape. I am wearing it now and it feels a bit better.

Well I knew this day would come. I occasionally sneak around the house naked or run by my mom to get clothes downstairs, but she usually just looks away and giggles.

Today was different. I had a long day at school which I was late for thanks to me blogging for the first time in like a month and then I had swimming and hockey back to back so when I finally get home at like 6:30 just now I take off my shorts and start stretching before getting in the shower.

So my mom walks in and says shes going to bed early, but then I'm like "oh wait I'm naked" but she has the courtesy to not even look down. Keep in mind she knew about me restoring from a while ago but had never seen it or anything to prove I wasnt just full of it.

so I'm not quite done restoring but it looks good and functions great so I was like "wait mom, come back....." she saw it, admired it, complimented it, complemented me, smiled very very wide and was exstatic. she said it looks fantastic. and I was thrilled.

Afterward I was a little embarrassed (and by a little I mean my face was bright red after I walked away) but I did give her a big hug and was pretty happy that she thought it looked so good ( which it does actually, especially at that moment)... like I had a condom on or something it looked that perfect and smooth! (it wasnt between stages or anything to make it kind of undecided about what it wants to do )

It was really really cool and awesome to have someone stand in front of you, look down at something youve worked so hard on but kept a secret for your own dignity and privacy, and compliment it like they were so proud of your entire body and how well it matched, and that it looked like nothing had ever happened to it.

it was awesome, its cool to be young still... this whole time I felt like I was growing up so fast but being here with my mom for this experience has really put me in my right place I think. now I just have to work on my dad becuase he's stubborn and doesnt know anything about my restoring and doesnt know how to adjust to anything haha I dont dare be bare when he is home! oh and my older brother too might be jealous. oh no I dont know what to do now!! but at least I know it looks that good

It's a softer material and comes in a variety of configurations. I think its better because it doesnt slip off as easily as the Catiiq but because of this is a little more of a pain to put onto yourself. (the catiiq literally just slips on and adjusts, where as the tlc-x can require more effort to get just-right)

its all a wash and but I really think that the tlc-x is the better product since you can upgrade as you go and ron low has such a great history with the restoring community.

Another added benefit to the tlc-x is that it has a narrower cone, which definitely encourages a tighter cling to the glans. I can speak that this is absolutely true, and that alone is a huge advantage to the TLC-X over the catiiq.

Over christmas I got a gift from my intact cousin who supports my restoring efforts greatly... the TLC-X. Its the mother of all devices I think!

The thing that really seals the deal for me is the way that I'm cut. Mogen clamp. This puts the scar and separation from inner to outer foreskin right smack in the middle vertically of my shaft (across )... its 50/50. until now I havent found a device that accurately expands just this area, mostly ignoring the inner few centimeters of perfection and frenulum. this is important though and I really needed something to help me finish my restoring efforts well enough

BUT with the TLC-X and the optional 24mm attachment , this 50% of inner skin is offset by the inner piece mostly and I can work on expanding just that outer part, while making it an inner part using this device. It works so damn well!! and the results are great. I know it fits perfect because I can feel the end of my frenulum from the outside in the stretched part between the two inner TLC-cones. Diagram is below but it kind of sucks since I drew it with Paint.

I'm making good progress for life! The only thing you need to watch out for is what kind of cut you have based on how much skin you have where. if your scar is right below your shaft, or if you are just starting out restoring, you should just use the regular non 24mm attachcment (i think the regular one is like 1-2mm to start). you can use the 24mm one later to tug harder (which you dont need anyway) but for me its critical that I use it now because of the way I was cut having so much inner skin! (when is why I made the diagram in the first place )

I have found the best way to apply the trombone mouthpiece.
If you take about 5 or 6 inches of thin paper medical tape and wrap it around the base (but above and tighter than the lip on the end so that its not back too far ) loosely a few times STICKY SIDE OUT, then stick the loose end in with the rest of the loop.

So you will now have a thick loop of tape around the ball of the mouthpiece thats smaller than the lip but otherwise covering the ball. And the tape is sticky side out.

Place everything over your glans and simply roll the skin over it and press hard with your hand on all 360 degrees so that the skin sticks to the tape evenly. The skin will unroll a little bit so that maybe 3 or 4 millimeters of the tape is showing on the outside but you will not be able to pull the trombone mouthpiece out. it will be solidly inside, the only way to get it out is in a warm shower or bath or by carefully peeling the tape out on the small edge that is exposed.

This works very well and I am so proud of how this project has turned out ( no pain, excellent putting it on, good looks, you can still pee, its easy and consistent and no wasted tape), but there are still a few other things I am trying on different devices to share later.

Carl noticed from my posts that I havent been using the CatIIQ lately, here is why.

"I dont really use the cat anymore because it seems like it really only works to restore inner foreskin on my kind of cut, which is about 50/50 inner outer. for people whose scar is very close to the base of their glans it would be perfect, but for me I found that it only stretched between the scar and the glans (which is a large space, probably close to an inch and a half to two inches )"

Since I have already had enough inner skin since I was born and then cut, I really just need outer to wrap the entire shaft and tip and conceal everythign else. because of this I moved away from this device.

As I said a while ago, I was cut with the mogen clamp which is a very generous way to do it. this was lucky for me since it saved my frenulum and lots of sensitive inner skin, but it makes it hard to use some devices that arent designed for people like me that were born later or jewish. (I'm not jewish, but the doctors started using a jewish style cut later on when I was born at the hospital, I lucked out that if they were doing it at all they did it this way )

One of my really good friends used to go to my school but then left. So when he was with me at that same school he always saw me bare in the locker room or quickly showering before going home after swimming or something like that, but this was a few years ago and I hadnt started restoring. back then I was tightly cut from when I was a baby :(

But recently we hiked and ended-up jumping into a hot spring when we were bored and he saw me naked again... but this time I had my now new foreskin that I restored. it was kind of weird to have this happen but I was so proud of it anyway that I just acted natural. he got really excited when he saw it for some reason, but seeing that he is circumcised that might be why. but most of the other kids that are at my school are uncut so it doesnt make sense since he saw them when he was there with me.

I would have thought he would remember me being one of the 30% or something cut kids but now that I look and function so naturally intact (uncut ) I think that he was just kind of surprised and curious about it. maybe he did research about restoring and wanted to do it? when I saw his dick it was completely soft and it looked like there was a bit of excess skin that I dont remember seeing from a few years ago, maybe he is one of the restoring group that I dont know about now? Finding out about haveing been sexually mutilated through a circumcision as a baby early through showering, swimming, and changing at school encouraged me through invisible peer pressure to restore and be myself finally but maybe the same thing happened to him? We have a lot of the same friends and most of them are uncut. we were the minority and now he is the only one.. I have him fooled but I'm afriad to bring it up since he might think its weird if he isnt interested in getting it back at all. any ideas anyone?

Trombone mouthpiece

I was at the mall with my mom today and remembered people using trombone mouthpieces during the day to restore. I went to the music store and bought one, then put it on in a stall in the mall bathroom.

Since I already had tape wrapped just smaller than the glans to keep the skin forward I just pulled the skin back, unwrapped the mouthpiece and placed it on the tip, then with a little effort pushed the skin back forward over it. The tape had to stretch a little but once it was past the lip on the mouthpiece it held even the weight of the entire thing when I was completely soft. it is awesome.

My favorite feature about wearing this during the day is that I think when I have to go to gym or swimming at school I can just pull the mouthpiece out and I'm already taped then. (the tape stretches past the lip but not enough to let it fall out on its own )

You can even wear it with the TLC Tugger's your skin cone instead of tape. Its like the two were meant to be together! However I'm not sure if the outer cone's pressure would restrict inner-pull. I will ask around (or reply back to me! )

The last and most important thing is that you can pee through the air duct normally without taking it off. Just pull it out, do your business, and put it away after. you can even use a urinal as long as there are dividers so people cant see the shiny thing there!

I will give more reports later if I find any problems, but for now I really think this is good. Again, to put it on from the beginning without having anything there: place it on the tip, roll the skin over the mouthpiece's lip as far as you can without pulling any hair skin over, then tape it there so that the tape's ring is smaller than the lip of the mouthpiece. It works really well but try it out for yourself before you go out walking around in the mall like I did! but it seriously works that good and it weighs a lot to help you grow more skin whenever!

Clothes, Manual tugging, Dekernelization, and some TLC tugger tips!

I'm still making really good progress here on restoring. Since I last posted I made some more discoveries.

1. Clothes rubbing really bother me now more than ever if I dont keep the tip covered with skin. Its bad, but has part to do with the dekernelization of the glans which I'm going to talk more about later. However, I really like the sensitivity boost and its covered most of the time by my new skin now.

2. Manual tugging is very very important. more than I thought it was before. If you tug manually for a few minutes (lots of tension but not painful, just stretching ), then put the TLC tugger on after, Ive seen changes overnight in length from the efficientcy of this strategy. See my TLC tugger tip below.

How to manual tug: I usually use both hands to pull the areas of shaft skin I want to expand away from each other in sort of a stretching motion. Once I feel tension I hold it there for 30 seconds and then repeat a few more times before putting the tlc tugger on. (see instructions below )

3. Dekernelization: When the tip ( glans) is exposed all of the time on a circumcised penis it dries out and wrinkles and roughens like chapped lips. Now that I have new skin to cover it like the other intact kids at school or swim /hockey practice, I obviously dont want it to stay chapped and wrinkled because thats embarrassing and it feels like rubber! It should be smooth and plain like theirs!

Good news: I've found out accidentally that urine is the best way to regain health and sensitivity of this part. I think this is because intact kids and guys usually just pee with the skin forward sometimes, especially when they are kids. Urine is sterile and acidic according to wikipedia and that must help accelerate the shedding of the dried out layers.

4. TLC tugger wearing tip: This helps a lot. Once you start manually tugging you will see a huge increase in skin much faster than you had before. You have to do it all of the time though. Once this is happening, you can put less skin into the tugger ( think about only halfway up the inner cone instead of to the top) and it will stay on very well. I love the way it feels and I even increased the tension to way more than I was using before without any pain (from grabbing a hair, for example ) or discomfort. it actually feels like its doing its job twice as well. Just make sure you pull on the tugger before applying the strap to make sure its really secure, and instead of trying to adjust the skin if its not... take the entire device off and then put it back on each time until it fits right. If you adjust it manually instead of taking it off you can get folds of skin inside against the inner cone.

I figured something out about why my circ was so generous. It must have been with a " Mogen clamp". These are what jewish people usually use and seems the least harsh. (but I'm not jewish, so I just got lucky )

I am a 14 year old uncircumzised male. My parents are both jewish,my dad is circumzised,but for some reason,they didn't circumsize me.

I hate having an uncut penis. Looking at the tip come out of the skin when I get a boner is disgusting,the tip is really sensitive,and polls show that girls much prefer circumsized penis's.

I've heard that it is actually possible to get circumsized at an older age if you wish,is that true? If so,does it work well? Or is there a good chance of getting damage.

I'm wondering if I should leave my penis the way it is or not. I've heard that uncircumsized penis's are so sensitive that it becomes hard to do anything different during sex,because you might hurt the penis.

First off, let me say that I'm jealous that your parents let you choose.

The way I feel for you is that, you should be happy. If you will live your life better by being cut then I say go for it, you can be proud of it and it will help you focus on whats important.

My situation was that I never knew what was wrong with me or why my glans was always being irritated or stimulated by rubbing everywhere, or why it would stick to my sack on hot days, that stuff. When I started having to shower for school a few years ago, I was devastated to find that most of my friends were uncut and I was left with a scarred dick that I knew nothing about.

It was a horrible experience, and since then I'm about half-done restoring a replacement skin thats fooled my doctor, and I blend in with my friends. I'm really proud of it and now people cant see a revealing outline at swimming from my brief, and it stays safer from the environment. If I'm naked outside or at a beach somewhere (theyre fun ), sunburn isnt as much of a problem than on a bare glans. theres a reason why we have it.

so if your going to do it then I suggest you at least get a very loose cut, but at that point you mine as well leave it alone. theres no guarantee you wont go home with too little skin which will be rock tight when erect and that feels like nothing for you and needs lots of lube for her.

you cant win 100% but I suggest you take the side that feels right.

Progress update

Right now my progress is pretty slow since I'm working on the skin on the under-side trying to catch it up. Not too much though since I dont want that to be too long, right now its almost perfect.

Manual stretching is helping a lot, not just for this, but in general. I really like using my hands to stretch it out hard before then gently putting on the tlc tugger before bed. Then tape during the day.

I've ditched the catiiq for now since I dont think it really fits me very well. The TLC tugger does a great job when you tug manually and it has a "Mini" tugger available for younger guys like me working on a tight, natural finish.

it wont be loose if you restore young, mine is perfect. the older you get the less tight it will grow in. your body is used to adapting as you age but at that point your screwed and youll have a wrinkly saggy foreskin
the tlc tugger offers a cone thats very small compared to their beginner one and it will help make that nice tight point or overhang that everyone desires

where I from every one is cut I only kno one person who is not? I never even thought about anything different till I read ur blogs. its weird u dnt seem shy at all on here ur very open and out spoken about ur believes. u got me kind interested in restoring but I'm scared what do u thing about the fake pieces of rubber they have to simulate the fore skin? how much skin have u actually gained?
you shouldnt feel shy. your dick is your business and no one elses, thats how I feel. if someone else sees I usually sense envy, but not always
the rubber helps pull on the skin to encourage it to grow longer and tighter. the younger you are the tighter and more real it is (and smoother ) since your skin is used to growing anyway. old men restore and it looks gross. use the skin on your face as a gauge for what your foreskin will look like in terms of quality, minus any pimples moles or acne of course
right now my progress is I have full coverage when soft, sometimes full coverage or half coverage or no coverage (wrinkles behind the glans ) when semi-hard, and it still looks pretty cut when hard but its getting there. each month is better and better

I never had a problem in the showers or locker rows at school with my [mostly] restored foreskin (even when I was tighter than some chic's stockings before I restored it back ) since there are so many uncut kids at school that I match up against. ( other than mine being a little shorter so far)

but now my parents signed me up to learn hockey and we all have to shower afterward since were really gross... and like all of the kids are cut except me. part of me keeps me proud but part of me is nervous. the worst part is that I swim in the same place until my mom picks me up so I basically shower and then put on my brief ( speedo) so everyone started talking about how I'm gay behind my back but I'm not. what dorks, I hope none of them are on here to see this though

The sensitivity increase is amazing but its hard to enjoy without having more skin than I have right now. Most of it comes from the skin moving around but being able to do that with an erection (hard) is really tough without restoring for like 5 years or more. Lucky for me I still have a lot of my original foreskin and frenulum (sensitive under stitch) left and even though it was unlucky that they did this awful procedure to me as a baby it could be worse than it was

So I have to play with at other times where its almost overwhelming and lasts a short time before getting too hard. I'm pretty young so I dont really have sex but when I did it was before I had really started restoring. I'm not fully dekernalizaed yet but its getting there. I'm getting more and more closer to full coverage all of the time when I'm walking around (usually I have it but not always) and thats the biggest barrier.

That sucks! Restoring young is hard too, I can barely fit some of the devices on there. Theres really no way to do it otherwise though since t-taping is really slow.

The best thing I can suggest is maybe stretching manually then using t-tape too? Be gentle. its not going to happen overnight and if you go at it too hard that means ouch and it will actually slow down the stretching.

I dont think she was, but she said that everyone on both sides of the family is done. This is sad, because everyone is misinformed. She didnt have to encourage anybody

2. If she was actively recommending or still felt circumcision was 'right' did your conversation change her position? Would she recommend it to a friend still; knowing that her own son was dissatisfied not with just a particular result but the idea of the procedure itself?
--I think this second question/point is the most important because when people discuss circumcision, in the US that is, EVERYONE knows SOMEONE who had to get it done later in life and it seems NO ONE know ANYONE who is dissatisfied. Now many of us know that is bull and now all that has changed for her too.

She feels really bad about doing it to me and actually wishes she hadnt and agrees that it should have been my choice. the problem is that she didnt think that I'd care and wanted me to be the way most people expected me to be, which is not what I wanted. I felt really awkward but I had to bring it up with her because I was afraid she was recommending the proceedure to her friends for their kids or something, something had to be done and it was up to me. She was reading and I came up and started talking about how I was really shy about this and wouldnt normally bring it up but I felt I had to... and said "how would you feel.... if I was unhappy with your decision to have me circumcised?" :o
that last word I could bearly speak I was so nervous

it took her a second or two to answer but she said "oh, well, we researched it and it was very important to us that we made the right choice and even though it was a 'fad ' not to do it at the time and the nurse tried to talk us out of it and I said it was none of her business we still did it and we felt it was the right choice." or something like that. I was pretty pissed because that seemed pretty naive to pick the choice that cant be undone over the one that would be okay. especially since all of my friends are intact.

I started talking to her about how it should have been my choice and I was really unhappy with it and that I felt taken advantage of. it was really easy to talk about once I got started and she was actually kind of supportive. I even told her about how I was almost done restoring !!!! :o :o she was shocked that I was different but actually impressed that I was working on it. I even told her I was wearing one of the restoring things right then and she was so amazed. she tried to talk me out of it though with how intact people give girls cancer or something and I was like "I'll take my chances thanks" and kept repeating all of the statistics from online that I know now :D

We actually got into the restoring stuff a lot because I was telling her that even though we couldnt undo the damge now I at least had a pretty generous cutting done... still had my frenulum and about half of my original inner foreskin... which Ive now stretched almost completely into a full one. I really think she is excited for me to be so happy and unique in our family. she kept asking me if I was gay though and I said no, only a little bisexual maybe. :o I was just letting it all out

I've been restoring for 1 year and I feel like I'm only a quarter way there. So far I have a lot of progress made but its hard to tell until youve reached a milestone because the skin will stay back and wrinkle until then. and when its wrinkled you cant tell how much is there

I basically wear the catiiq 24 hours a day (except if it comes off when I sleep but I put it on looser so it doesnt now ) and feel pretty good about my methods so I hope that by christmas I will be half way there

When I want to end is when I have a smooth sheath covering everything when its hard. but that will take a long time

Right now I'm pretty happy with how things are during the daytime because when I swim I dont even need to use tape to keep the skin over the glans anymore because I have so much skin that I even have an overhang now. It shows through my speedo when it gets wet which I think is kind of cool but a lot of people look at it and I hope they dont think my whole thing is that small. if you look closer you can see a smooth, skin covered glans then the overhang but people in america dont always know what a foreskin looks like.

TLC Tugger at night and CAT IIQ in day is the best way

I started wearing the TLC tugger (mini cone with the frenulum slice I cut with scissors) at night and the CAT IIQ to school instead of wearing the CAT all of the time. This is the perfect setup

The two work together really well because they tug in different directions, and the TLC then applies pressure to smooth out the overhang. It looks SO GOOD.

I replaced the TLC Tugger. My cousin helped me order a CATIIQ and I love it!! The cat can be used like the tugger with a strap or just by itself since it can self tension on the inside. Since theres no strap I can wear it to school and just take it off in the bathroom before I change for gym. Its working really well since I can keep the skin tight all of the time now! buy a CAT

The other thing that changed was the skin started rolling itself forward by itself when I'm standing up. This is so awesome!!

Another new way to tape

I switched to this after using the old method, I like it
What I do is take like 4 inches ( this kind of depends on how big around it is, just try different sizes or use a lot of tape to start out with) of 3M stretchy skin colored waterproof foam tape and start by sticking the middle of it to the top of your shaft with some skin in front of it and you should not be hard or kind of hard. then you wrap it around on one side a little tight but not too tight. Then you take the other side, and wrap it around the same way (a little tight) and stick it on top of the other side's end.

You will need a lot of loose skin to do this method, but if you have enough you can slide the tape forward and it should make a fake foreskin for you right there. If you have nothing on ( no tugger, tape or anything) and you are soft, and you sit down, if the skin goes over the head that means you can do this.

I love this method and use it all day even when swimming (in a speedo too it doesnt show and hides your head from view ) or at school. When you have to pee the skin just slides back like a normal foreskin since the tape stretches. If you get hard it pulls back automatically which kind of sucks so sometimes you have to fix it in the bathroom or carefully through your pocket, but this is the only downside and it should get better the more skin you have restored.

yayy I just made this up. if the TLC tugger is not already on, put it on. then take the 3M skin colored waterproof foam medical tape and wrap it once around right below the tugger. then take the tugger off and put two strips of regular medical tape (the white stuff, stuck together with a half centimeter fold at the top end) vertically from top to bottom over that tape. The foam tape gives the medical tape something to peel off and stick onto without leaving sticky residue or getting the tape wet when in the bathroom. then the foam tape also keeps the skin stretched forward without wrinkling. cool

The results Ive seen are way better than older people... no weird wrinkles or grossness. So thats kind of cool and hopefully it will stay that way for the rest of my life

Rode with my dad to Home Depot and got some random sizes. They are hard to put on, would not stay on, and slip off. But they are cheap, so if they work for you then maybe its a good place to start. But I won't be using them.

TLC Your Skin Cone.
Tried wearing this instead of tape this afternoon. It works okay since I have more skin now, but if it nudges your leg or you hit it by accident then it pops off and is useless. (so you have to wear briefs or boxer briefs to be safe! ) Plus its awkward using a urinal with it. So, I won't be using this either.

Winner: 3m Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape (skin colored)
Even though the skin color is way too light for my skin, my favorite things about this are that it stretches, its more stealth than white tape I guess, and its smooth waterproof and easy to remove. Instead of t-taping or something like that, I stretch the skin forward and tape around it... pulling it tight to create almost a small faux overhang. Works great, and when I need to use a urinal or something I can just pull the skin back as if natural because the tape stretches! yay. I have seen people glance from across the bathroom (thank god for urinal dividers!! haha) when they see me pull something back... they must be jealous

I heard a tip in my e-mail that if you put spit on your remaining foreskin before putting the tugger on, it'll allow it to move a little better and speed up your growth.

Ever since school started I haven't been online as much so sorry for not updating.

I've been wearing the tape during the day to keep the head safe and its going pretty well. When I go to the bathroom I only use the urinals if nobody else is there... I have had some close calls with people seeing me!! I usually just use the stall and stand so people arent suspicious.

I hope I can restore quickly so I can be natural without having to do all this extra work! On gym days I don't wear the tape at all or take it off right before changing (in the bathroom or something).. this is kind of cool because the skin stays forward by itself and people see me when I'm changing.. I'm so proud!! But then the skin slides back eventually or in the shower so that is no fun.

Taping Tips

1) Tape up not down! That way when you peel it from the top to go to the bathroom, anything that drips down with gravity won't affect the reattachment

2) When taking the tape off, be gentle. The fastest way without hurting yourself is to press the skin down with your thumb to pull it away from the tape, rather than pulling the tape off of the skin. Its painless and fast.

3) always wear tape when your not tugging! (to train the skin forward and keep the glans covered)

When you get further along you'll notice less and less stress on the tape when soft... its because the skin is getting longer and taking the shape in which it holds it. Feels great and looks good, too... especially when it starts to stay in place when you take the tape off! (even if its only for a minute or two like me) :)

Its the end of the month and I haven't been online that much. I do want to say that I have made some awesome progress.

Over the past few days the skin has stayed over the head sometimes completely by itself while standing. I tip-toed over to the mirror and it looked so good! Completely real looking, I was like WOW!!!!!!!!!

I hope I can get it like that all of the time!

I find I have the same results when wearing speedos.
If I pull my foreskin well over the glans the tight fabric will keep
the glans covered for as long as I wear the trunks.

Cool. I guess its not just me who found this.

I tried on a Speedo Jammer bathing suit but because of the legs everything can move around. So, you do need tape if you wear one of those. But Speedo briefs are fine without tape, just push the skin up or the head down!

Swimming, Part 3

Today, since we're flying back to Arizona from Florida tonight, I went back to the nude beach. This time I sported the t-tape down there while bare. (standing, swimming, and walking around)

A few glances, but otherwise nothing. I could picture an older or friendlier someone asking about it, but it didn't happen. I would have been happy to explain though! I could tell there was curiosity.

Its also a great way to keep it safe and from getting sunburned. After all, the head of everyone's penis was designed to be an internal organ, and, unfortunately, circumcision makes it an external organ. Its not designed for a sunburn and that could be extremely painful and/or create permanent damage. (especially sensitivity wise) Stay safe and keep restoring! (so you won't need tape in the future, your body's own solution!)

In your last post you discussed the skin being held over the head while wearing your speedo, and requested comments. (If I read into it correctly.) This is a very common experience. I have been restoring now for over 5 years. I got off to a slow start where as I did not learn of the TLC Tugger till a few years ago. However I am at a stage now where my skin will remain over the head on its own in most cases. However, if I wear briefs or boxer briefs I find the skin will stay over all the time, and has for a while. Pouched briefs or pouched boxer briefs work best.

Swimming, Part 2

Today I went to a nude beach near where we're staying in Florida, but unfortunately the tape I was wearing peeled off shortly after me removing my suit... I don't think it was on all the way.

So I was shocked when my head down there hit the cold water, uncovered!

Next time I'm going to bring the tape along.
The skin only stayed forward for a few seconds on its own since I skipped into the water, so for the rest of the time it just looked like I had a really loose circumcision, rather than a really short foreskin. Hopefully that will change soon so I don't have to wear anything at the beach.. literally! :)

Another thing:
I actually found that the speedo, after I put it back on, held the skin forward over the head pretty well.. even without tape. But, I don't think this will work for people without much slack skin to move around. (if they haven't been restoring already or are just starting) If someone is willing to try it, send me an e-mail using my address at the bottom of the page.

I know you probably get these questions all the time, but i would really like if you could help me with a little advise, because i was thinking of restoring. Does it get in the way of things in everday life, like can people tell your doing it? How do you pee if you dick is all taped up? What if you need to change in front of others. I dont know if you deal with this, but what about sexual activity, how would it not get in the way there?

Hi Will! It doesn't get in the way for me, its part of my daily routine.

At night I use a TLC tugger.
During the day I just have two pieces of medical tape, horizontally, with (on one side) the ends folded over so I can peel the tape off when using the bathroom. Its important to dab with a tissue or toilet paper to get any liquid out before putting the tape back on or it won't stick and you will need a new piece

Other than that, no real inconvenience. That is the main reason I don't wear the tugger during the day.. it can pop off and the strap has to run around your leg. Perfect for at home or in bed, but not when running around

Nobody knows I'm restoring but me :) Actually no, I was at a nude beach (today actually in Florida!) and I left the tape on while I was bare walking around. (Unfortunately it came off because it wasn't on all of the way and stopped sticking from the water. But! When I put my speedo brief back on it did a great job of holding the skin back in place without tape, just a tip!)

Changing in locker rooms, I think I probably will just leave the tape on? I don't care what other people think and if anything I would be flattered by their curiosity, but if it were really awkward I would simply peel it off ahead of time or not wear it at all.

(When school gets back in, I have to go to PE once a week so I usually don't do any sort of restoring stuff that day or wear briefs/boxer-briefs. I think what I'm going to do is wear the tape, then take it off for the showers when changing out of my boxers, then put it back on when I get home or something. The difference is my friends might say something but regular people at like a gym or something I don't care about seeing tape while changing or in the showers)

Today I went to the beach. I'm skinny so I wear a speedo, and I don't think anybody really cares since it fits my body type! (no nasty looks, everyone is comfortable)

Something that always bothered me was my head showing through my bathing suit. Rubbing wasn't a problem though since the material is so soft and tight, unlike the mesh in a traditional suit.

However, my usual taping method not only works great but hides the head and makes it look natural! Plus it keeps the salt/chlorinated water away.
I can't wait to not have to worry about this anymore, though. :)

Here it goes

1) The head is much more sensitive. Everyone probably expected me to say that but the head is smooth and stays moist when covered, sometimes shiny

2) There is definitely a smell coming from that area now. Its not a bad smell, urine smell, or a sweat smell... but there is a sweet and powerful smell. To me it smells natural in a good way... its different but I like it. Not like my arm pit or something.. Like a boy should smell! I guess! It goes away if you wash it but for me it comes back after a few hours. Another thing: The girl I was with said nothing about the smell, so down go the rumors of girls hating uncut guys.. maybe annoying girls or something

Then, for a few days I was very busy and decided not to wear any sort of restoring device or tape:

1) The head kept rubbing against my boxer briefs and it was quite arousing, yet annoying. But, the urethra opening was rubbing too, and that was irritating and got all red. After being covered by skin or a tugger, it had returned to match my normal skin color like the head did.

2) The head got dry and started peeling a little bit. Then the peeling stopped, and the head because very textured. I hadn't really noticed how much smoother it had gotten from being safely tucked away under moist skin.

I feel like I'm reaping the benefits!

So as of July I am wearing the TLC Tugger http://tlctugger.com at night and putting a single piece of tape to hold the skin over and keep stretching during the day

The tape can peal off when I need to go to the bathroom but usually doesn't stick back on after, so I have to use a new piece sometimes.

Whats cool with my progress is that when I'm soft and sitting down, my head is almost covered! The skin goes forward on its own and creates a shield. Standing up is a little too much for it though and it will roll back slowly by itself.. But if the head was sticky it would stay forward naturally and look good. I was excited.

The skin isn't bunching when hard but the circumcision scar is moving up and the loose skin above it toward the head is moving more when soft. The skin is more lose when hard and if I move it I can slide it over the head a little bit without trying too hard... it actually feels pretty good and I don't see why anyone would want to be circumcised ever.

Before I started restoring I had very little skin. (December 2005 sometime)

I tried stretching manually but that was too much work. Taping was boring and so I made some 'Foreballs' from cabinet knobs glued together. They worked a little bit I think but were not safe for use at night time... I would wake up with a mild pain and remove it.

So I got the tugger kit and started tugging at night for a few months.

I ordered a TLC tugger http://tlctugger.com and wore it at night time for a while but realized that without holding the skin in place you sacrifice a lot of growth!

Now I wear the tugger at night time and tape the skin over the head during the day.

My main reasons for restoring were that I felt, since I could do something about it:
a. it looked better and cleaner, smooth skin rather than exposed head
b. was more functional and protected the head
c. less revealing. I usually wear a speedo in the pool at school or at the beach and you could sometimes see my head through my suit. Now I usually tape before swimming to keep things private
d. comfort. the head and opening in it would rub against my underwear or bathing suit. even just having the tape holding the skin there makes it feel better

At one point I wore the tugger cone and insert during the day under underwear without tugging, but now I just tape since the tugger can fall off and must be removed to go to the bathroom and put back on after. (which is much more work than an actual foreskin lol) Plus the tugger pokes out with its metal clip and so it shows through your pants sometimes. Tape is much better as long as you change positions of it and remove slowly to not hurt the skin.

Now I need to work on my starting post!
