My two year anniversary.

I am a little depressed that this is still taking so long, but I am hanging in there. I think if I had found my most successful method (day: tlc-x, night: trombone mouthpiece with tape) more quickly I would be where I want to be now.

My current status is that I am already what most people would consider restored. However I first had a very tight circumcision and that put me in a bad situation. Plus it didnt help that my penis was usually hanging pretty longly vs. being short. I dont know why this but it makes my results less obvious in both looks and feel.

Still, I am making good progress. When I am in the shortest state I have full coverage and then some. When I am in the showing state, I have half to 3/4 coverage, which is a little unpredictable so I am going to keep going. I would like some overhang but it seems like too much to ask for since I dont want this to take over my life.

I will continue posting and hopefully be where I want to be by the end of the summer, if not Christmas.

So do you mean that, when erect, you have 1/2 to 3/4 coverage? That doesn't sound like something to be unhappy about. A lot of uncircumcised guys don't even have that much foreskin, haha.

It sounds like you've had a lot of success, to think you've come so far in 2 years! Don't fret dude, you've come so far.

if you have half coverage when erect it sounds like you have as much as my brothers who were never cut.

I am going for full coverage when erect though I know it will take longer but I like how it looks. Also on a side note this is going to sound weird but have you tried hypnosis? I have found that since I have started using it, it has greatly increased my restoration speed. If your interested let me know and I will tell you how to do it.

hey, this is teenboy9. I sent you a link to a womans blog. She is pregnant, and is going to circumcise for a number of reasons, one of the big ones being "I've never heard a guy say he did not want to be circumcised" I think it would be great if you commented on her entry, and maybe link her to here, so maybe we can get her to change her mind.

Hey Adam, sounds like you are making good progress. Keep going until you are satisfied, you've come this far and it seems like your goal is now in site. :) Also I agree with anonymous/teenboy9 go over to the blog and let her know how you feel. She did say "I've never heard a guy say he did not want to be circumcised". Invite her to read your story provide the link to the post where you asked your mom why she circumcised you. Perhaps tell others you know in your situation, restoring teens, to chime in. This is a good opportunity to help a soon to be born boy out and all you have to do is post. :) It's up to you but I hope you'll consider it.

I wrote her a note, she should get it soon since all comments require approval. I really hope she understands the pain I've gone through... and I am normal too. I didnt have any complications that I know of, imagine the issues with those who do.

That was really good of you Adam, but I fear that it will fall on death ears. She has your blog address so perhaps she might read in her own time, I hope. The approval mode wasn't on when she posted the story initially; it seems she posted her rant and got upset when people didn't agree with her. We try and that is the best we can do.

What happened to the link about you telling your mom about this? That would have been a good link to provide. Just wondering. Have a good night. :)

Adam, just found your blog, great reading, only wish that I had known that there was a way to restore when I was your age. I've been restoring now for about two years. And I would guess I'm in about the same boat as you, I've just switched to the tlc-x have been using the tugger mainly though.

Funny that when I questioned my parents regarding having us cut as infants they said it was what the doctor said to do (my dad is intact). It's amazing how much pain this thoughtless decision brought into my life. Sex/erections were so 'painful' because I was cut so tight. Now things are so much better, and well, lets say the sensations are like nothing I've ever felt.

To the woman who is going to have her son mutilated. One simple question. Why is it that everyone in the world gets upset when they hear about female circumcision (mutilation) but not male. Both should be prevented by law.

Perhaps you should send a link to her from Ron Low's site, the very well written article on what the difference between males as nature intended versus circumcision.

I may have to try your mouthpiece method.

I just want to let you know how useful your comments (even just in this entry) have been for me!

I think if I had found my most successful method (day: tlc-x, night: trombone mouthpiece with tape)

We all learn from experience, and in this case you're teaching me what you learned, because you're being proud and talking about your experience.

And just by having the TLC-X (and all those) designed the way it is (and it's improving in the next version, to fit the glans better), we're both benefiting from what folks over the past years have learned and discussed. Hell, just the other week I figured out a minor but handy improvement on Ron's trick with hooking the elastic band to a legbrace, which I'll go and post to the foreskin-restoration.net forums.

(Anyone who doesn't believe me about progress: have you poked around the Web and seen the old instructions for restoration gear?!? It's all makeshift and clunky and must have been really uncomfortable, which I bet turned off 90% of guys who were considering or trying itit. That's the effect on me when I looked at it all ten or so years ago.)

Oh, and you wrote:

wearing the tlc-x to bed can be annoying if you arent awake to adjust it if necessary. So you would subconsciously take it off in the middle of the night

That's exactly what I tried, and exactly what happened, and I almost called it quits on the TLC-X altogether. I thought I was being clever by thinking "restoring in my sleep! brilliant!", but no-go with the TLC-X. Now I know it's just a daytime thing.

And now I'm off to the music store, down the block, to get a trombone mouthpiece and give it a try. with your advice on how to use it!

Man, you aren't lying about this trombone mouthpiece thing. And I didn't even bother with the tape, I went right to putting the Yourskin over it-- and yeah, is so perfect a fit that it's spooky! How'd you get to know so much for 15?
