With the TLCS24 insert it sometimes pokes your glans in weird ways and starts to hurt. there is no pain anywhere else. I have tried to solve the problem by wrapping the insert with the 3M skin colored foam tape that I usually use for all sorts of stuff and it seems to be a lot more comfortable. Another restorer suggested using "memory foam " but I am seeking more information before spending my hard earned money on materials!!
But the TLC-X is still a really good product and I think this will be resolved with only minor efforts if it hasnt been already with a coating of tape. I am wearing it now and it feels a bit better.

I might or might not be talking about the same problem you're running into, but:
now that I've tried the TLCX and the CatIIq, the pusher/plunger on each is making me wonder exactly whose glans these things are supposed to fit comfortably onto! Like the other restorer suggested, I'm thinking some kinda improvised foam might be needed to get things to feel nice and snug instead of nice and pushed-on.
One thing you might want to look out for with memory foam: definitely some kinds of it (maybe all?) can't really get wet, or else their texture does something, like turns back to just normal foam. So, can't wash it, so it's no good. (Altho if you stumble on a kind of memory foam that doesn't have a problem with getting wet, post!)
And there's all kinds of spongier/flexier gel-like material, like the "gelly" dildos are made out of, which you could probably adapt very easily to whatever shape you want, and which can be cleaned in soap and water just fine-- with the one immense problem that as far as I know, they all contain phthalates, and that makes them out of the question, no way, no go. Dang.
